Our Culture of Copying and Illuminating The Quran

At the Restu Foundation, we are deeply committed to the hand copying and illumination of the Quran, reflecting the timeless beauty of Islamic art. Each Quran distributed will be more than just a text; it will be a work of art, adorned with zukhruf. These illuminations capture the rich history of Islamic art while embracing the identity of the corresponding country or language spoken. We ensure that the communities receiving these Qurans feel their culture is honored and represented.

Showcasing Islamic Art as a Unique Form of Da’wah

Our tradition goes beyond printing the Quran. By integrating Islamic calligraphy and artistic illumination, we showcase the Quran as a bridge between faith and culture, offering a different form of da wah. This unique approach not only highlights the beauty of Islam but also respects the identity of the community that speaks the language.
This approach breaks that barrier by providing translations
in different spoken languages and
illuminations that capture the identity and culture of each community. By doing this, the Quran becomes accessible to everyone, allowing people to connect with the message of Allah SWT in a way that feels familiar and welcoming.

The Restu Foundation: Our History and Facilities

The Restu Foundation has been a beacon of Quranic preservation and promotion for over 37 years, located in Malaysia. The Calligraphy Department, Design Department, and Research and Development Department for the Quran are based in Shah Alam, in the state of Selangor.
Our printing factory is located in Putrajaya, Malaysia, where we ensure the highest quality in producing these sacred texts.
